Safety is our top priority, and every area of the salon is cleaned and disinfected in between every client. We are located in the historic district on North Allegheny Street. About The Owner
At age 17, Laura found her passion for hair while attending Barone Beauty Academy. Now with 14 years of experience she loves specializing in fashion colors, foils, and balayage. She believes in bringing out your personal style by creating a cut and color to make you feel like your best self! She was chosen to be a part of a worldwide artist collective called the Unicorn Alliance in January 2017. She is extremely passionate about furthering her education in the beauty industry and attends numerous classes per year in Philadelphia, Orlando, and NYC. Laura always dreamed of opening her own salon, and she knew beautiful downtown Bellefonte was the perfect location. New Wave Salon officially opened June 17, 2020. When she's not in the salon she loves spending time outdoors with her son and her mini dachshund Meka!
Meet Billie!
Billie has been in the industry for over 20 years now! She enjoys creating in all forms of art, but hairstyling is a true passion for her. Billie loves all hair services, especially haircuts, and special occasion hair! She believes that all colors are beautiful so she loves doing any color service, from traditional highlights to modern blended balayage and everything in between. She also is always staying fresh on education and the latest modern trends. When she is not at the salon, she is most likely working on an art project and spending time with her daughter and her two maltese/shishitzu puppies named Isabelle and Ruffles.
Meet Julia!
Julia has a passion for color and loves to do bright and vivid colors, but she also loves the beauty of natural tones! When she’s not in the salon, you can find her checking her Co-Star account (she’s a proudly professed Gemini) or binge-listening to one of her favorite artists on Spotify.
Meet Autumn!
Autumn has been in the industry for three years now! She loves balayage, foils, blonding, and vivid color services. Autumn is passionate about creating a style for you that will make you feel your absolute best! When she's not in the salon you can find her creating art, painting, reading, or hanging out with her fur baby kitties Mouse and Moshie. She is also a huge movie fan, and is always up for tv and movie recommendations!
Meet Andi!
Andi knew she would have a career as a hairstylist when she started styling her Barbie's hair at the age of three! Her specialties include custom hair colors and short, textured haircuts. She also has a true passion for bridal hair and makeup. When Andi is not in the salon, she is most likely busy conquering her boyfriend in Mario Kart or watching makeup tutorials.

FAQ
SHOULD I BRING INSPIRATION PICTURES TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Yes! We love to see pictures of your desired style, and pictures of what styles you like and dislike. It helps your stylist to have a visual, and we can then plan with you how we can best get you to your hair goal!
WHAT IF I'M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
If you are running late, please call us and let us know! If you will be 15 minutes or more late, we may need to reschedule your appointment depending on your stylists' schedule that day.
WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we absolutely understand that life happens and things come up! However, we ask you contact the salon as soon as possible and no later than 24-48 hours prior to your appointment time. Should you choose to no call/no show, you will be required to pay the balance of your missed appointment before being able to schedule another appointment. If you cancel less than 48 hours three times or more, you will be asked to put down a 50% deposit for all future appointments at the time of scheduling.

We want you to feel your best! If you are unhappy with your service, please email or call us within 7 days so that we are able to make it right!
